* The Royale Bintang, The Curve , Petaling Jaya

This hotel is located at "The Curve" in  Mutiara Damansara , Petaling Jaya.
By the way "The Curve" is a pedestrianized shopping mall anchored by retail establishments like IKEA , Ikano Power Center & Tesco Hypermarket. In addition to these big retailers there are about 230 other smaller retail and  F&B outlets.
All the shopping areas are connected via a covered walkway. The main attraction around the hotel is shopping and dining and probably nothing much else and if that's what you plan to do around this area, The Royale Bintang The Curve is a convenient hotel to stay in. You literally step out of the hotel  into a hive of these commercial activities.
This is the hotel facade.  IKEA and Ikano Power Center are just opposite the hotel.
This is the hotel lobby/lounge. The reception counter, the lobby, the Window Restaurant and the bar are all within the same area and are within visibility of each other.
This is the "Window Restaurant" . We dined here as our room came with breakfast. The staffs are impersonal and you hardly see anyone smile.
Our room is called "Club Studio". This room is supposed to be a better room cos' it comes with a balcony.
This is the concrete-looking balcony outside our room and it is actually not very worthwhile paying for it.  It overlooks IKEA and Ikano Power Centre.
This is our bedroom. This hotel is about 3 to 4 star in status.
The room is air-conditioned. There is a TV, a mini-bar, coffee/tea maker, broadband internet connectivity...
a washroom with separate shower cubicle....
and bath amenities that come in nice packaging.
During our stay, there was some kind of competition going on. This picture is taken from our room balcony.
This is the hotel swimming pool taken from the balcony of our room.
This is the spa area. It is just adjacent to the swimming pool.
This traditional oriental looking door is the entrance into the Spa.
This is the other restaurant in the hotel called The Terrace.  It opens out to the street at The Curve.
Picture: The Terrace Restaurant.
If you take a walk along The Street you will see so many F&B outlets, you'll be spoilt for choice. (Picture shows a few of them)
There are also many shops along the street.
This Street Market opens only on weekends. It is just a few steps away from the hotel.
This is my rating for this hotel. (Out of a total of 10)
Room: 7
Service : 5
Facilities: 6
Activities Available: 7
Food: 6.5
