Tokyo Street @ Pavilion Mall

Do you know there is a place called Tokyo Street in Kuala Lumpur? It is not a real street per se but it is a whole shopping wing in a popular shopping mall at Jalan Bukit Bintang.
Located at level 6 of Pavllion Shopping Mall, Tokyo Street is dedicated to all things Japanese. This wing of the mall happens to be my favorite hangout whenever I am in Jalan Bukit Bintang.
Upon entering the wing you will be greeted by a giant sized Japanese lantern
The shops which features 100% Japanese brands are designed to look like shops in Japan, from their decors to the architecture.
Daiso where every item costs RM5 (it's RM5.30 with GST) occupies the biggest space at the end of Tokyo Street.
Tokyo Street is not very long but you do find interesting Japanese products and mouth watering snacks as you stroll along.

You can also find Japanese Bakeries here. In fact there are two,  Komugi and The Loaf. Komugi usually gives 50% discount for all bread products after 9pm.
Matsuri Mart is a grocery store that sells make-in-Japan foodstuffs.
There are close to half a dozen Japanese restaurants along Tokyo Street each with a tempting list of Japanese cuisines in the menu.
Sukiya is my favourite.
If you are facing the entrance of Pavilion Mall, Tokyo Street is on the right hand side (6th floor).
