Phuket Aquarium is located at Cape Panwa on the southern end of Phuket Island. It is opened everyday from 8.30am to 4.00pm. Entry ticket is 100 baht for adults and 50 baht for children.
The serenity here was quite a welcome change from the bustling and hectic Patong Beach where we were staying.
The aquarium is averaged sized but displayed quite a good variety of marine lives.
This Smallmouth Electric Catfish looked chubby and cute.
These Long-horned Cowfish looked like tadpoles to me.
Mile's Lionfish
Corals and other sea growths.
I have never seen such beautiful shrimps before.
Giant Groupers - these are really huge.
There is a short stretch of tunnel tank.
The weather outside was extremely hot and being inside this cool aquarium was certainly refreshing.
Our tour ended and we were back under the hot Phuket sun.
