Even though there are so many hotels in Bali, it is good to make prior booking before your arrival there. If you are planning to go for a comprehensive tour around Bali over a very short holidays, it is not advisable to stay in hotels too far from the city centre.( like in Lovina or Bedegul) The best places to stay for a very short vacation would be the Kuta-Denpasar area. This is where you can easily rent a car and driver too.
This post is about the resort I stayed during my 4D/3N trip to Bali.
The Dreamland Luxury Villas and Spa spans over an area of 10acres and has a total of 42 villas.
A. The Location
This is Jalan Raya Uluwatu which leads to the famous Uluwatu Temple. Dreamland Villas is located on a small lane off this road. This is not a very happening place though. If you want to step out into a hive of activities, then this resort is not for you but if you are seeking privacy and exclusivity, this is the place to be.

10-20 min drive to Jimbaran Beach, Dreamland Beach, Pura Uluwatu, Nusa Dua
Garuda Wishnu Kencana, Pecatu Graha Golfing,, Padang-

25-30min drive to Bali International Airport
75 min drive to Ubud, Denpasar
90 min drive to Tanah Lot
2 and a half hour to Kintamani, Bedegul
B: The Rate
The official rate for a 1-room villa(with swimming pool) is USD300++ per night
We stayed at a promotional rate of USD200nett per night inclusive of breakfast.
If you book a minimum of 3 nights, return airport transfers are complimentary.
There is also free shuttle services to Dreamland Beach and Padang-Padang Beach a few times daily. Usage of WIFI in villas is also complimentary.
C: The Reception Lobby and Lounge
The whole resort is built on an undulating land, on Jimbaran hills.

D: Our 1-bedroom Villa
Each Villa is named after a region or district in Bali. Ours is Candidasa.
Every villa has its private courtyard with high walls (8-10ft).
Our own Balinese hut. You can order a candle light dinner and have it here.
The swimming pool is 7m x 3m and the villa land size is 2260 sq ft.

This building houses the 2 restaurants in the resort. On the lower floor facing the swimming pool is The Terrace Restaurant and on the upper floor is The View Restaurant.
