This post is a sequel to Resort Suites @ Sunway Lagoon Resort: Part 1 (Review and Photos)
As mentioned in my earlier post, one of the great advantages of staying in the Resort Suites @ Sunway is the easy accessibility to The Pyramid Mall.
I took the opportunity to explore this mall during my 4D/3N stay at the suite and it is my pleasure to share some of the things I see including reviews of the F&B outlets I patronized.
The architecture and entire set-up of the mall is simply stunning.
Right at the entrance is a replica of the the Egyptian pyramid and a huge lion (similar in a way to the Great Sphink of Giza).
The stuctures and designs are apparently pharonic.
This is certainly one of the most beautiful malls I've seen in Malaysia.
This 5-storey mall has about 800 shops and every wing has its own unique design.
Great pains and details are put in to make this mall spectacular.
This mall is very well maintained.
There is an ice-skating ring on the ground floor.
There is a 48-lane bowling alley for bowling enthusiasts on the 5th floor.
There are 10 cineplexes to choose from for die-hard movie goers.
There is a games arcade.
There is a mini theme park to keep the young entertained.
There are shops and restaurants with interesting and creative decors.
Even passageways to washrooms look interesting.
There are themed shopping at certain wings.
This street specialises in all things Asian.
Another wing called Marrakesh has a Moroccan-inspired ambience.
This section has all things digital.
There are many shops that offer great bargains.
A Taiwanese Restaurant we patronized.
Great service, great tasting food at a reasonable price.
No regrets eating here.
We also dined here. The food is expensive and taste wise, way below our expectation. This shall be our last time here.
This restaurant serves Indonesian food.
I love "Ayam Penyet" and I certainly enjoyed my meal here.
There is a choice of several types of sambal and all are fiery hot.
We haven't been to Nando's for ages and decided to dine here.
Great tasting chicken.
This is another Taiwanese Restaurant we patronized. I thought the food was good as it was packed to the brim & a queue waiting.
Great presentation but very ordinary-tasting food.
So why the long queue? Some restaurateurs are simply lucky.
