Darjeeling Part 7: Visiting A Tea Garden


Darjeeling being India's Queen of Hill Stations has a perennial cool climate and mountainous terrain that makes it an ideal place for growing tea. I visited one of the 140 or so tea gardens in Darjeeling.

No, she's not a plantation worker. She's just a local Indian tourist who dressed up 
like a tea plucker to pose for photos.
