Kalimpong Travel Part 3: A Glimpse Of Dr. Graham's Homes School

Another place I visited in Kalimpong was Dr. Graham's Homes School. This is no ordinary school as it was one born out of love and compassion for orphaned and abandoned Anglo-Indian children by a Scottish missionary by the name of  Rev Dr. John Anderson Graham.
Established in 1900 as a refuge for these underprivileged children, it has now become a modern boarding and day school providing formal education for 1500 children.
I walked around expecting to see students and school activities but the school looked deserted. It was probably the school holidays.
The surrounding areas were full of wild flowers.
Kalimpong climate which is sunny and cool is condusive to flowering plants.
