Tasmania Travel Pt 16: Charming Small Towns Of Tasmania

Sheffied is a small scenic town we visited enroute to Cradle Mountain National Park.
Sheffied, also called Town Of Murals attracts many visitors who have come to see the murals it is famed for. Murals which depict the area's rich history and beautiful scenery are painted on almost every blank wall throughout the town.
The town holds an international mural fest annually since 2003. After each competition, the finalists' murals will be displayed at Mural Park and will remain there for 12 months till the next mural fest.
Finalists' murals at Mural Park.

Richmond is a small historic town we visited on our way back to Hobart after visiting Tasman Peninsula.
Richmond
The oldest bridge in Australia built from sandstone by convicts in 1823  is found in Richmond.
The oldest Catholic church in Australia, St John's Church is also found in Richmond.
Richmond Goal which is Australia's oldest intact goal is a major tourist attraction and we came to catch glimpses of it.
