A Stopover At Chiang Rai Hot Spring

Our tour van made a stopover at Pha Soet Hot Spring on our way to Wat Rongkhun and the Golden Triangle. This is a good place to break a long journey as there are washrooms, restaurants, shops, ample parking and a small hot spring.
There is one pool where the water is hot enough to boil eggs.
Hot spring cooked eggs are popular among visitors.
There are plenty of things to see and lots of food for the hungry.
The hot spring is small and there's no privacy to soak or dip in it, so for a stopover, yes but to travel 3 hours from Chiang Mai just to visit it, don't waste time.

This stopover is part of a day tour I took from Chiang Mai which include the following itinerary:
- Chiang Rai Hot Spring
- Wat Rongkhun
- Golden Triangle ( add another 300Baht to go for a cruise to Laos)
- Buffet Lunch
- Mae Sai
- Akha Hill Tribe
