Hilton Garden Inn, Milan North: Review And Photos

Hilton Garden Inn, Milan North is located in a quiet suburb away from the hustle and bustle of city activities. It is about 7km to the city centre where major attractions like Gothic Duomo and Sforza Castle are located. It stands mostly on its own as there are no shops, restaurants or mini-markets in the vicinity. The road where it is located is also very quiet with very few vehicles passing through. Fortunately the nearest metro station (Metro Villa San Giovanni) is just 190 metres away.
We stayed in room No 338 on the 3rd floor.
Our deluxe twin room is not big but it has fairly good facilities which include a safety box, a mini bar, sufficient closet space and shelves, bedside tables, a TV, a working table and reading lamps.
The air-conditioner and electric heater in the bathroom both functioned well.
The washroom is spacious and clean with a counter top that is also spacious enough to put the toiletries comfortably.
The shower cubicle is big with ample hanging space for towels and clothes.
Bath amenities come in nice packaging.
Also provided are coffee making facilities with free sachets of tea/coffee/milk.
Bottled water and usage of Wifi in the room is complimentary.
This is the he hallway on the 3rd floor. The various floors are served by elevators.
Among facilities provided in the hotel is a small gym.
Another facility is a convenient mart called Pavillion Pantry. This pantry offers (sells) sundries, an assortment of beverages and ready to cook meals.
The Garden Bar on the first floor is a spacious lounge bar which looks very relaxing.
Our room comes with breakfast which is served at Garden Restaurant.
The menu is a typical western breakfast menu which include ham, bacon, cheese, eggs, mushroom, croissants, fruit juices, coffee and tea.
It was not a very elaborate menu but everything tasted good. The 'unforgettable' waffle is tasty even on its own.
The lobby lounge is spacious with a contemporary setting. Most staffs are friendly. The receptionists speak English but most others just a smattering of it.
Even though this place is quite secluded, staying here should be fine if you can arrange your own transport to visit the places around. Overall our stay here is a pleasant one.
