Flemington Hotel, Taiping : Photos and Review

Flemington Hotel is quite strategically located in Taiping and is not a bad choice for holiday makers especially for those who do not have their own transport. To start with, it is just diagonally opposite Taiping Lake Gardens. It is also within walking distance to some tourist hotspots like Taiping Zoo or Night Safari. It is not too far from the heart of town and searching for food in the vicinity is not a problem.

We stayed in a superior room which may be a little narrow but offers the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay.
This air-conditioned room is furnished with a bedside table (very important to me), a dressing table, a small cabinet and an open air clothes hanger.
A  safety box and a hair dryer are among facilities provided in the room.
A big flat-screened TV is always a blessing when you don't feel like going out.
There are coffee and tea making facilities, 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water, and complimentary sachets of coffee and tea.

In-room dining menu is available and the items are fair-priced even though food is a lot cheaper in town.

The washroom is clean and comes with a separate shower cubicle.

Basic toiletries are provided.
There is complimentary newspapers in the morning and usage of Wifi is also free.
All rooms come with  buffet breakfast which is served in 'Raintree Cafe'.
There is quite a fair spread of breakfast cuisines and the taste wise most are more than satisfactory.
Hotel facilities include a swimming pool which is located at the topmost floor.
Also available is a children's pool which is just beside the main pool.
The Sky Bar serves light snacks and drinks by the poolside.

Another F&B outlet  is Hu Jing Ge which serves  Chinese food.

Flemington Hotel is better than I originally thought. I may stay here again for my next trip to Taiping.
