Surfers Paradise Beach, Gold Coast

Gold Coast is bestowed with stretches after stretches of beautiful, pristine beaches. Among these, Surfers Paradise Beach is the most iconic and also the most talked about. It has been voted Queensland cleanest beach in 2006 by 'Keep Australia Beautiful Council' and one of the best beaches in the world by the American 'Travel Channel'.
This must be reason enough to put "Surfers Paradise Beach" in your must-see list while you are in Gold Coast.
The gateway across where I am standing is the main entrance to this beach. This place is always bustling with activities and is a favourite hangout for locals and tourists alike.
The beach is beautiful indeed. It is wide and has fine, powdery white sand.
The sea has strong rolling waves, no wonder a surfer's paradise!

On days when it is not safe to swim, the life guards will display red flags on the beach. Yellow flags mean 'Swim with caution'.
Red and yellow flags means the beach is currently being patrolled.
Running parallel to the beach is The Esplanade. Come evening or weekends this place is thronged with people who walk for pleasure, jog for health and roller-blade for fun.
A lot of facilities are provided free for the public. There are benches and tables.
 public toilets.
 open showers and drinking water dispensers
Even electric stoves are available for picnikers.
Just across the beach and Esplanade Road, more activities await you.
Restaurants, eateries, fast food chains, shops,....
There's a place we particularly love to hangout. Outside MaCDonalds and Hungry Jack, wifi is free and unlimited.
