* Maya Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

A place I know which is inexpensive and which offers value for money accommodation packages in Kuala Lumpur is the Maya Hotel. I'm not too sure why it is classified a "boutique" hotel but I can say my stay here was a pleasant one.
It is located in the not so busy part of KL but has easy accessibility to the vibrant city activities. The Twin Towers is a mere 10 min walk away. The monorail station which takes you to many KL hotspots is also within walking distance.
The hotel also provides complimentary shuttle van service to KLCC and Chinatown (Jalan Petaling).
We booked a 3D/2N accomodation package which included breakfast,  a massage and free usage of the spa.
This is the dropping-off area for hotel guests.
This is the lobby lounge. Its distinctive features are the comfortable sofas and cushions with eye-catching psychedelic colours.
We stayed in the "Deluxe Suite" on the 12th floor. The room is super spacious with a contemporary setting.
There is a sliding working table. Internet usage is complimentary.
There is an expresso maker, an electric jug, complimentary sachets of coffee and tea, and a mini bar.
The floor to ceiling glass windows makes the room very bright and gives an unhindered view of the city.
The washroom is well equipped and very clean.
View from our room.
This photo and the following two are photos of the Twin Towers taken at different time of the day from our room.
The hallway that links the various rooms is not enclosed as in most other hotels.
This is the massage room in Anggun Spa. We had a good traditional Malay massage here.
The gym is quite an elaborate one.
This hydrotherapy swimming pool is a main feature of Maya Hotel and it is also our favourite spot within the hotel.
This pool is supposed to be therapeutic as the  water jets are strong enough to provide a hydro massage. It is also heated and thus makes a great place to hang out without fear of being chilled even on a cold, rainy day.
This pool, the spa and the gym are all located on the same floor.
This F&B outlet is called "Still Waters". We had our breakfast in "Maya Brasserie" and the food was satisfactory.
The service is generally good. The staff are friendly and helpful and I hope it will remain this way if not better should I ever lodge here again.
