A Chance Visit To Elephant Poopoopaper Park, Chiang Mai

I looked through all the day tours in Chiang Mai but I did not find any that incorporates  Elephant Poopoopaper Park into their itinerary. This place is probably deemed insignificant in Chiang Mai tourism.
We actually ended in this park by chance. After doing the elephant safari at Maetang Elephant Park, we were given an optional (have to pay extra) tour to visit a Karen Long Neck Village. The tour guide felt bad about making eight of us wait in the van as only three  were interested so she got the van driver to drive us to this park where the entry is free, just to kill time.
This is an educational park where you can learn how paper is made from animal poo. No guide is needed and the process is self-explanatory as you walk from one station to another within the park.

Some poo paper products.
A small cafe in the park
I wonder whether it is a good idea to name the cupcake and cookie 'poopoo'.

I didn't find this place boring at all. In fact I find it educational and the visit quite meaningful.
