Our tour to South Switzerland included a stopover at FoxTown in Mendrisio which is just 1.5km from Lugano. This place features 160 stores selling 250 major brands all housed under one roof in a three storey complex.
Opened 7 days a week from 11am to 7pm, this place offers free parking to visitors. There is also a casino in the vicinity.
The complex is not very large but all stores give a perennial discount of 30-70% off all branded goods. It also offers dining facilities and free Wifi.
Available here are ladies' and men's fashion, casual wear, footwear, beauty products, watches, bags, electronics items, toys, kitchenware,etc. Do not expect to get the latest release though, as items sold are from the previous seasons. That's probably the reason for the huge discounts.
