'Thung Lung Tinh Yeu' aka Valley of Love is a huge park themed after the concept of love and romance. Located just 5km from the city of Dalat, the capital of Lâm Đồng Province in southern Vietnam’s Central Highlands, this 242 hectare park which spread across expansive rolling hills and valleys features many landscaped gardens with creative garden props and thought evoking statues. In the midst of the park stands Da Thien Lake, a large man-made lake where visitors can indulge in recreational activities like boating and at its edges evergreen conifers grow in abundance. This park boasts of a big variety of floras. Beautiful and colorful flowers which thrive in Dalat's perennially cool climate are its major attraction.
The entrance fee of 100000 VND is well worth spending as there are many things to see in this exquisitely landscaped park. The park opens daily from 7.30am to 5pm and flower lovers like me can easily spend more than half a day savouring its charming blooms. Because of its wide area, it is quite impossible to visit all the attractions on foot. Shuttle cars are provided for the convenience of visitors to move from one zone to the other.
Valley of Love is by far my favourite attraction in Dalat. It's a great place to feel close to nature and to snap wonderful shots for memory.
