An Excursion To South America: 20. Staying In Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness

Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel And Wellness was one awesome hotel that I stayed in during my travel around Peru's Sacred Valley.  Its centralized location in the Sacred Valley makes it a good base for visiting the region's archaeological sites including Machu Picchu. It is approximately mid-way between Cuzco Airport (44km) and Ollantaytambo (29km) making travelling to either destination quite convenient and standing at an elevation of 2900m compared to Cuzco's 3400m, one will unlikely suffer altitude sickness here.
Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel has a perfect resort setting and is a sanctuary for nature lovers. Built along the banks of Vilcanota River and surrounded by the Urubamba mountain range, its landscape is picture perfect.  I find the ambiance ideal for guests seeking relaxation and tranquility.

The hotel has 115 well-appointed guestrooms and suites.
The hotel ground features lakes with crystal clear water, streams, bridges and landscaped gardens.

There is an outdoor swimming pool with the mountains as a backdrop. Other facilities include a fitness centre, a library, a movie theater, etc

A beautiful chapel stands on the hotel ground.
This is the hotel block I stayed in.

Cute stone steps leading to the room.
The well equipped and spacious Deluxe Room I stayed In.
Room comes with commendable features like 2 wash basins, a separate toilet and a big shower room with a huge tub.
A very spacious reception lobby
Beautiful stained glass wall at lobby lounge
There are four alluring restaurants that serve an array of Peruvian delicacies.

Great tasting bread and buns.
An assortment of breakfast cuisines.
Making memories in Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel.
