China Silk Road Travel Part 7: Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar

Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar is one of the places I'd looked forward to visiting before coming here.
This bazaar and the surrounding area is the commercial hub of the Muslims in Xinjiang.
Beautiful buildings, fantastic architecture, vibrant colours!
Beautiful decor too! No wonder so many are seen hanging out here.
The staple food of these people is the 'naan'. You see this almost everywhere in Xinjiang.
An interesting food that caught my attention.
Inside the bazaar
Spices
The red dates are sold in abundance here.
The knives specialist
Every stall looks interesting to me.
"If I buy one of this hats when will I ever have the opportunity to wear it in Malaysia?",  I wondered.
The obvious Turkish link.
