Kalimpong Travel Part 2: Deola Hill

View From Deola Hill
Deola Hill is one of Kalimpong's best attractions. Standing at 5590 feet it is Kalimpong's highest point. It is cool and breezy and makes a great picnic spot. It is also an ideal getaway from the polluted streets of Kalimpong town. Last but not least it offers magnificent and breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks and the surrounding valleys below it.
Deola Guesthouse stood in the midst of the hill.
The hill has been turned into a park, landscaped with pathways and flowering plants.
It offers a great view of River Tista that meanders through Kalimpong.
View of Relli Valley from Deola Hill
The peaks of Mount Kanchenjunga, the 3rd highest mountain in the world are prominent from Deola Hill. This mountain looks like a cloud from afar.
This is a place you must visit if you are in Kalimpong.
