Lombok Travel Part 13:Kebun Villas And Resort, Senggigi

Staying in Kebun Villas And Resort towards the end of our travel around Lombok couldn't have been a better choice. We love this resort for the tranquility it offers and the mesmerizing landscape of greeneries each time we look out of our room.
Though set in the midst of a very luxuriant vegetation, it is just a short walking distance to Senggigi town centre where all the conveniences can be found.
More than 50% of the resort area is conserved in its natural state as part of its initiative to preserve the existing wildlife which include  monkeys and a few species of birds.
The Reception
We arrived at the resort around noon but our room was not available for checking in till 2pm. The good thing about the resort is you can easily walk out to Senggigi town and that was what we did to kill time. We had a good lunch and went for a massage at Orchid Spa. By the time we walked back to the resort, our room was ready.

Seroja Twin Room
The resort offers a few types of villas with private pools and two types of rooms. I stayed in Seroja Deluxe Twin Room which is located on the highest block within the resort.
I really like the ambiance of the place. The rooms are housed in a very long stretch of building block enveloped by a lush and verdant foliage.

Measuring 41sq meters, the room is spacious and very airy.
The furnishing is contemporary and the facilities provided are commendable.

There is complimentary usage of WiFi, tea and coffee sachets, bottled water, canned drinks, chocolates and snacks. Some of these items are usually chargeable in other hotels but Kebun Villas offer them for free. These are also replenished on a daily basis.

The washroom is very spacious with a separate shower cubicle and sufficient toiletries provided.

Resort Facilities
Resort facilities include 2 swimming pools. One of the pools is located beside the restaurant and the other, in front of the block that houses the rooms.
Pool No 1
Pool No 2
The second pool is a very long infinity-edged pool that extends across the front of the room block. However, it is a shallow pool, just 2 feet throughout.
View from our room
There is only one restaurant. Opposite the restaurant is a bar with tables and chairs that remind me of kindies as they are very colorful.
Resort Restaurant
Resort Bar
Our room came with breakfast which is a la carte. Breakfast was just satisfactory though.

Resort Ground
Green trees, shrubs, and creepers fill every corner of the resort and bring out the very essence of nature. It is a great resort to unwind and "to experience the art of slowing down in quiet seclusion" as proclaimed by the resort website.
